We specialize in, but are not limited to, breaking and training young colts and problematic horses as well as amateur and juvenile mounts. We offer the ability to cater to each horse individually in order to meet all their needs, from special medicines and care to specialized training programs to bring each horse out to his or her best ability. We also offer a 90 day colt evaluation. To make an honest determination on whether or not your baby will make it to the show ring, we offer a 90 day evaluation program. This program allows young horses to be brought in and worked, with monthly reports on their progress (bi-weekly available upon request). You will recieve a final evaluation at the end of the 90 days on the overall progress and if he/she appears to be ready, or not, to head to the show ring soon. We take into account the colt's growth, training stage, and mental conditioning. After the 90 days it is up to you whether you'd like to continue training. Evalutions are $500 per month for three months, and then the decision is up to you if you would like them to stay in training. Jansal Saddlebreds is proud to offer top notch accommodations for your horse. * The quality of care and the quality of our facilities at Jansal Saddlebreds sets us apart from other barns: * Standard stalls are 12'x12', A limited number of 12'x14' stalls and window suites are available. * Stalls thoroughly cleaned seven days a week and completely stripped once a week. * Each stall is equipped with fans for added comfort. We have implemented the use of Fly Predators as a “green solution” to flying pest control. * Feedings twice daily at 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, with lunch if necessary at noon. Only high quality feeds are used. * All feed stored outside of barns for safety and sanitary purposes. * Water buckets are emptied and cleaned daily. * Heated wash stalls for year-round bathing. * Comfortable kitchen/lounge with full bathroom and large picture windows overlooking the indoor riding arena. * Park-like grounds with riding or jogging paths. * Turnout always available. * Convenient barn hours: 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily. After hours access upon request. 2.4 miles to Davie County Large Animal Hospital and our horse trailers are available to shuttle horses to and from veterinary care. | WELCOME TO OUR FACILITY We are a full time training facility, with 12x12 and 12x14 stalls, indoor and outdoor riding areas. We have large and small turnout paddocks and many miles of trails to ride on. Show horse training is $650 a month, with a discount for 2 or more horses. |
